Saturday Night Live 3-Way (The Golden Rule)
“3-Way (The Golden Rule)” is a song by American comedy troupe The Lonely Island featuring Justin Timberlake and pop recording artist Lady Gaga. The song and music video debuted on Saturday Night Live as an SNL Digital Short on May 21, 2011. It features Andy Samberg and Timberlake reprising their roles as a faux 1990s R&B duo previously seen in “Dick in a Box” and “Motherlover” foraying into a threesome with a girl (Gaga). The track was written by The Lonely Island (Samberg, Akiva Schaffer, and Jorma Taccone) and Timberlake with a beat provided by The Futuristics with Ryan & Smitty and Asa Taccone. Samberg and Timberlake recorded the full song the following Friday morning (May 20) and shot the accompanying music video the same day.
